N.E.R.D. have released a new JaQuel Knight-choreographed music video for “Lemon”, the first single from Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo and Shay Haley’s forthcoming album No_One Ever Really Dies (Released via Interscope Geffen A&M Records). Directed by Scott Cudmore and Todd Tourso, the video opens with Rihanna shaving dancer Mette Towley’s head in a hotel room, followed by a dance routine in an empty, neon-soaked flea market. Watch the video below:

The Rihanna-featuring single premiered last Wednesday (November 1st) on Zane Lowe’s Beats One radio show, marking the group’s first official single since their last album, Nothing, dropped in 2010. Pharrell Williams briefly brought back N.E.R.D. in 2015 for three songs on The Spongebob Squarepants Movie: Sponge Out of Water soundtrack, as well as a track called “Locked Away” that he debuted on his Beats 1 radio show.

Last month, N.E.R.D. teased their return to music by plastering billboards and posters around Tyler, the Creator‘s Camp Flog Gnaw Festival. The posters displayed the slogan “No_One Ever Really Dies” – an acrostic for N.E.R.D. The same artwork can be found on the band’s website and social media accounts.
